A producer at Capcom has confirmed in a recent interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine that the online survival horror addition to the Resident Evil 3 remake, Resident Evil: Resistance, will not be canon in the universe. The online game will be a four-against-one that is meant purely for fun and will not add anything to the current timeline. Resident Evil: Resistance will not be canon as confirmed by a producer of the game in a recent interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine.
