Image fade to background colour (fade to transparent) - English - Ask LibreOffice

Hello, using Libreoffice Impress. I upload an image to use, but I want it to fade to transparent on the X-axis along the left hand 20%. See picture for rough idea. I’ve tried doing the slide background image and tried a image on the slide, but no luck with the transparency.
