The 11th Northumbria International Conference on Performance Measurement in Libraries and Information Services will be in partnership with the National Library of Scotland, and held in Edinburgh from Monday 20 to Wednesday 22 July 2015. The Conference seeks to bring together practitioners, researchers, educators and students interested in all aspects of performance and measurement in library and information services in any context. The conference is truly international and welcomes participants from all countries and continents. Following successful events in York in 2011 and 2013, the Conference will be moving north in 2015 to the world's first UNESCO City of Literature. Formerly the most northerly part of the kingdom of Northumbria, Edinburgh is a beautiful historic capital with a rich literary scene including the world's largest Book Festival. The Conference will be hosted in two venues; the National Library of Scotland and National Museum of Scotland, and the dinner will take place at the iconic Signet Library, on Edinburgh’s famous Royal Mile. All of the Conference venues are within a short walking distance of each other. Last year’s event attracted over 170 participants from more than 20 countries. As always, the main Conference programme will be complemented by a range of social events, visits and tours. The call for papers and theme of the Conference will be announced later this year via e-mail lists and our website. If you would like to keep in touch with any news about the Conference, please visit the Conference website at: www.york.ac.uk/conferences/northumbria/
