Metal Sonic is the robotic counterpart of Sonic the Hedgehog and a recurring antagonist in the Sonic series. Metal Sonic was created by Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik and was first seen in Sonic CD, where he would often race and fight against his organic counterpart Sonic the Hedgehog and would occasiounally kidnap Amy Rose. Metal Sonic returned in Sonic the Hedgehog Tripple Trouble, where he was presumably went to fight against Sonic and his friends once more. Metal Sonic also appears in Sonic Drift
