Shigeru Miyamoto has been the biggest name in gaming for over two decades now. He helped bring the young video game market back from near death with hit titles like Donkey Kong and Super Mario Bros in the early 80s, and from there, he just kept going. Donkey Kong Country, Legend of Zelda, Star Fox, and Pikmin are among his many critically acclaimed and top selling creations.
