Today, our friends over at Fellowship of Fans have revealed that actor Calam Lynch is set to play the role of Celeborn in Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2. Lynch is best known for his role in the hit Netflix period piece Birdgerton. Lynch was added to the ensemble cast back in December 2022. Many fans wondered if had killed off Celeborn off-screen from The Rings of Power after his absence from season 1. Galadriel (played by Morfydd Clark) makes a passing reference that her husband had died some time ago to the human Theo.
