Praise The Lord
Greetings to you all in the matchless name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
While we were fasting and praying as a family, the Holy Spirit spoke to me to separate my life for His ministry. As per the vision and guidance given by God, we started a church in this beautiful and blessed island of Bahrain.
My only experience in church leading was conducting a prayer meeting in our home every Wednesday, since 1991. Given my limited qualifications, I put my full trust in Him who called me for His great ministry.
The call was with a verse from Acts 18:9-10 “Do not be afraid, but speak and do not keep silent for I am with you and no one will assail you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”
In 2000, we started a ladies’ meeting at home as well. God performed miraculous works in these meetings.
When we committed to church building, very few families including some brothers and sisters from the weekly prayer fellowship, joined us to begin the church. Our home was the worship place for almost 20 months.
Back in February of 2004, after 21 days of fasting and prayer, the Lord was merciful to place us in the present place of worship.
The One who called us for the ministry is faithful and we currently worship Him in truth and Spirit in four languages – Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and English each with their own zealous community of believers, pastors and elders.
I have a blessed family — my wife Soosan Thomas, is also an evangelist and preacher though several avenues and mediums including conventions and television. God has blessed us with two sons – Jason and his wife Merin and Joel.
All glory and honor goes to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May God bless you all.
